About TORCH

 

In May 2009, three members of The Bowie Project (now Restoration Praise Center), Avagay Brown, Ashante Tucker and Davesus Omosun, birthed the idea of TORCH. The name TORCH represented their desire to have a ministry for those on fire for Christ with a passion for drama and whose mission was to spread that fire. Since then, TORCH has grown from an idea of three to a ministry of over 30 who aspire to live out the meaning of TORCH - Teaching Others Real-life Changes that Honor Christ.

 

Mission Statement

 

The mission of TORCH is to ignite a personal relationship with Christ by cultivating knowledge of the gospel and the promise of salvation. Through artistic expression, God's love is creatively portrayed to the world, preparing them for His second coming.
