CHILDREN'S

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The Children's Ministry Department of the Restoration Praise Center exists to coordinate all of the ministries for children; to recruit, screen, equip and support children's leaders; to be an advocate for children; sets the curriculum for all activities related to children and to be a liaison with the local conference for the sharing of information and data. We ensure our little ones - its most precious resource and its future, can have a safe and Christ-centered worship experience.

Children's Ministry is dedicated to reaching out to all children and sharing the Good News and winning souls for Jesus Christ. In addition, its core purpose is to plant a solid foundation of faith, hope and love in each child so that they can become stable, centered Christ-like citizens of this world.

Mission Statement: To instill Godly values and morals in our lives, enabling us to be a light to the world. We will be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:32 NIV). If you have any questions about our ministry or any of our programs and/or you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Giselle Jones, Director, Children's Ministry at childrensministry@rpcsda.org or at 301-675-6094.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Children's Church is a kid-friendly Christian service that is held on the 2nd Sabbath of every month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Restoration Praise Center. The age group is 4 -11 years old. However, parents with children under 4 years of age are welcomed to stay with their children. The first hour is an interactive church program and the second hour is where the children go into their activity centers which reinforces the memory verse and theme for that day. For more information, please contact Bethany Anderson, Children's Church Leader at childrenschurch@rpcsda.org.

ACTIVITY CENTERS

The Activity Centers of Children's Church have the following format:

Little Children's Church (children 4 to 7 years old) focuses on teaching a Biblical theme in an interactive way.
Church-in-Training (children 8 to 11 years old) teaches a Biblical theme and show children how to serve and lead.

CHILDREN'S STORY

During our divine hour service on Sabbath at Restoration Praise Center, we have a Children's Storyteller who shares a story for our children. This interactive story is to engage our children in the service and share Biblical lessons that is essential to their spiritual walk with God.

If you love storytelling and are 13 years or older, please contact Gabby Agurl at childrensministry@rpcsda.org.

KINGDOM KIDS

Kingdom Kids is our Children's Choir and Mime Ministry at Restoration Praise Center. Children from ages 4 to 11 years old are encouraged to join to learn how to minister through music to win souls for Jesus Christ.

If your child enjoys singing and performing mime, please contact Myshawn Hall-Artis, Kingdom Kids Director, Lea Parsons, or the Kingdom Kids Mime Ministry Director at kingdomkids@rpcsda.org for information on joining the Kingdom Kids Music Ministry.
